Three Day Loctician Certification

The Modlocks Certification Course is an in-person program that equips aspiring locticians with technical expertise, business strategies, and client management skills. Students receive a comprehensive education in techniques, entrepreneurship, and effective communication.

COURSE CURRICULUM

Day 1:

Begins with a look and learn demonstration (start to finish) of a complete maintenance on a client in real time.

• Introduction to Modlocks

• Tools

• Consultation

• The Modlocks method of locking hair

• Parts and patterns

• Practice on mannequins

• Homework and virtual support between classes

Day 2:

• Review

• Consultation part 2

• Basic root maintenance

• Fixing unwanted flaws

• Practice on models (provided)

Day 3:

• Group quiz

• Introduction to loc extensions

• Repairs with extension hair

• Custom loc extensions

• Practice on mannequins and models

• Build your brand

• Starting your loctician business

STUDENTS RECEIVE

• Modlocks tool kit

• Mannequin head

• Certificate upon completion

• Lunch included (students are welcome to bring their own food and drink)
